Educated at the Central lnstitute of English and Foreign Languages (now the English and Foreign Languages University), Hyderabad, and Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, he is an ELT consultant, curriculum designer and teacher trainer.

P.K. Jayananda Panicker has more than fifty years' experience in teaching English. He obtained his M.Phil. in Phonetics and Ph.D. in Linguistics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He has a Postgraduate Certificate in the Teaching of English from the Central lnstitute of English and Foreign Languages (now English and Foreign Languages University), Hyderabad.
